EyeAce Prep is a study aid for people preparing for ophthalmic assisting certification examinations. These terms set out what you are buying and what you are not.
Who you are dealing with
EyeAce Prep is a product of Axiolume, LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Axiolume, LLC.
What EyeAce Prep is
EyeAce Prep provides practice questions, written explanations and an automated study tutor. It is a study aid. It is not a course, not a credential, and not a substitute for the training your certifying body requires.
No guarantee of a result
Nothing here promises you will pass an examination. Questions are written to reflect the published content areas of the certification criteria, but the actual examination is written and controlled by the certifying body. We have no access to it and no relationship with it.
Not clinical advice
The content is written for people training to work in eye care, and it describes how a technician approaches a clinical situation for examination purposes. It is not medical advice. It is not a protocol for treating a real patient and must not be used as one. If you are looking at a patient, ask the physician responsible for that patient.
Your account and your access
Access is sold to one person for the period stated at purchase. Please do not share your access link. Access that appears to be shared, or that generates automated traffic, may be closed. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
The study tutor
The tutor is an automated system. It is grounded in the explanation written for each question, but automated systems can be wrong. Where the tutor and the written explanation disagree, the written explanation is the one we stand behind. Do not paste personal or patient information into it.
What you may not do
- Copy, republish, resell or redistribute the questions or explanations.
- Scrape the site or call its endpoints by automated means.
- Use the content to build a competing product.
The questions and explanations are original work and are protected by copyright.
Changes to the content
Questions get corrected and added over time. We may change the content of the bank during your access period. We will not reduce the access period you paid for.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Axiolume, LLC's liability to you is limited to the amount you paid. We do not accept liability for examination results, employment consequences, or clinical decisions.
